Having a baby is mentally and physically draining

From healing, adjusting, and navigating parenthood, having a baby is a lot. While it’s true that babies don't come with a manual, there are plenty of resources, parenting books, and support networks available to help navigate the journey.

Pregnancy is one of the largest changes your body can go through. The process can be daunting, especially since it comes at a time when you may be physically exhausted. Having someone to take care of you, support you, and help you prioritize self-care whenever possible is a must. If you need advice or someone to talk to, I am here to help you move toward parenthood confidently.

I will support you through all the unknowns!

Doulas are the people who hold your hand through all the unknowns, fears, and joys of childbearing and childrearing.

Our job is not to simply help you get through birth, but to walk with you from pregnancy through postpartum as you become a parent.

Placenta Encapsulation

Give yourself the gift of a smoother postpartum recovery with placenta pills or tincture. Placenta encapsulation offer several potential benefits to for postpartum recovery. Some reported benefits include:

  • Hormonal Balance: The placenta contains hormones like estrogen, progesterone, and oxytocin, which may help balance hormones during the postpartum period. This balance could potentially reduce the risk of postpartum mood disorders such as postpartum depression and anxiety.
  • Increased Energy: The high nutrient content of the placenta, including iron and vitamin B6, may help replenish nutrients lost during childbirth, leading to increased energy levels and reduced fatigue during the early postpartum weeks.
  • Faster Recovery: Some mothers report quicker healing from childbirth-related discomforts, such as bleeding and uterine cramping, when incorporating placenta encapsulation into their postpartum routine. This could be attributed to the potential anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties of placental tissue.
  • Enhanced Milk Supply: Placenta encapsulation is believed to support lactation by providing essential nutrients and hormones that may aid in milk production and breastfeeding success. However, scientific evidence supporting this claim is lacking.

***It's important to note that while many mothers have reported positive experiences with placenta encapsulation, the scientific evidence regarding its effectiveness is still inconclusive.
